Silhouette Stippling & Etching Tool The Stippling & Etching tool has been designed for use with the Curio Cutting, Embossing & Etching tool. This tool allows the user to create beautiful stippled or etched designs on metal sheets (available separately). The tool can be used to create designs or pictures with different amounts of shading and detailing to give your projects a jaw dropping bespoke finish. What is stippling? Stippling is the art of creating an image or a design by marking the surface with a series of small dots to create the desired effect. What is etching? Etching is the art of creating an image or a design by cutting into a surface with lines to create the desired effect.
