Hawthorne Churchill’s Iodine 16.5%

Churchill’s Iodine is 16.5% pure iodine for general equestrian use. Iodine is used on the hoof for its disinfectant and antiseptic qualities. It is used on the sole of the hoof to prevent and treat fungal and bacterial infections. It also hardens the hoof. Some people use it in mixing their own home-made hoof remedies! It is used on navel cords and hooves of newborns, and it is used on wounds and fungal skin infections like ringworm and rain rot. Iodine can also be diluted and applied as a rinse after bathing for skin disorders.
