Grapefruit Essential Oil: Citrus paradisi peel oil Grapefruit oil is tangy and zesty and has an amazing uplifting and energising juicy citrus scent that is often considered to be slightly sweeter than the actual fruit. It can help with feelings of lethargy and is often used as a pick me up type fragrance. This oil is incredibly useful for mood boosting particularly when hormonal. A few drops in an oil burner can work wonders. Grapefruit essential oil is a thin pale orange oil rich in vitamin C and is an excellent oil for preparations that target greasy and puffy skin types. It is also a great detoxifier and can safely be used on all skin types even those prone to issues. Patch testing should always be done prior to using any essential oil and if necessary advice sought from a qualified professional. This oil is also very useful for healthy circulation and correcting water retention issues.
